Background
CTO Connection is an invite-only community where senior engineering leaders at companies of 100 people or more connect, share what they know and learn from their peers. It was built to create relationships and professional growth, and it needed a way to expand its member base through targeted outreach.
The problem
The founder runs the platform himself and had no internal resource to manage outbound email. The work called for a partner who could take the whole outreach process off his desk and generate signups without needing constant direction.
How we helped
We came in as fractional CMO and ran the email outreach from start to finish: list building, campaign design, execution and response management. The founder kept his attention on other priorities while signups came in and community engagement grew.
