10 Best B2B SEO Agencies in 2026, Scored and Compared

Stepped glass podium with the top block glowing, illustrating a ranked list of B2B SEO agencies

A B2B SEO agency is judged by the pipeline its rankings produce. Traffic alone doesn’t pay for a retainer. So we compared 10 B2B SEO agencies on the things that decide whether search turns into sales meetings: how much of their work is B2B, which channels they run beyond SEO, what they charge, the proof they publish, and how they handle AI search.

SeeResponse wrote this list, and we rank ourselves first. You should know that before you read it. Every other agency here is one we’d recommend for the right buyer, and each profile says who that buyer is. The facts come from each agency’s own website and its Clutch profile, checked in September 2026.

Why B2B SEO decides who makes the shortlist

Search is where most B2B buying starts, and the research on that is consistent.

So a B2B SEO agency has two jobs. The first is to rank your pages for the problems and categories buyers search on Google. The second is to make those pages clear enough that AI tools cite them when a buyer asks for a vendor list. An agency that does only the first misses the AI tools that 94% of buyers now use.

How we scored each agency

Six criteria, weighted by how much each one affects whether B2B SEO turns into revenue.

CriterionWeightWhat earns points
B2B focus20Most of the agency’s clients and positioning are B2B, and its content speaks to buying committees and long sales cycles
Pipeline reach20The agency runs the channels that turn a ranking into a meeting: email, outbound, CRM and reporting on opportunities
Pricing and terms20Pricing is published, minimums are within reach of a mid-market budget, and contracts don’t lock you in for a year
Proof15Named B2B clients, published results and a solid number of verified reviews
AI search (AEO and GEO)15A documented service for getting cited in Google’s AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity
Technical and content depth10Technical SEO, content and link building all handled in-house

We didn’t score domain authority, awards or team size. A bigger agency isn’t a better fit for a company spending $5,000 a month, and a buyer can’t do anything with an agency’s own backlink count.

1. SeeResponse

Best for: B2B technology and professional services firms that want SEO, email and outbound run as one program, with no long contract. Score: 91/100

Based inFoundedTeamClutchPricing
McLean, VA201910 to 494.8 from 36 reviews$2,500 to $7,500 a month for most retainers; month to month

SeeResponse is a B2B-only marketing agency. Its B2B SEO program covers technical SEO, keyword and intent research, content, internal linking, digital PR, AEO and programmatic SEO, with reporting tied to opportunities in your CRM. What sets it apart on this list is what happens after the ranking. The same team runs email marketing, outbound and HubSpot, so a visitor from search can be followed up, nurtured and handed to sales without a second agency. Clutch lists its work as 45% SEO, 45% email and 10% CRM.

Strengths

  • B2B only, across SaaS, IT, healthcare services, education and professional services. Its case studies name VWO, Joovv, Curacubby, KindKatch and SCALE Healthcare.
  • Published pricing. Most retainers run $2,500 to $7,500 a month, and every engagement is month to month from the first day.
  • A founder leads each client relationship, with specialists in SEO, email, paid media and design doing the work.
  • Named results on its case studies: 40% of VWO’s named accounts opened a conversation, and Curacubby received 500 viable leads a week.

Limitations

  • A team of 10 to 49 people. Enterprises that want a 30-person pod on one account should look at Directive or Victorious.
  • Its clients are in the US, so it isn’t the pick for multilingual or international SEO.

2. Optimist

Best for: B2B SaaS and technology teams that want SEO and AEO expertise on month-to-month terms. Score: 80/100

Based inFoundedTeamClutchPricing
Des Moines, IA201610 to 495.0 from 1 reviewRoadmaps from $7,500; advisory from $3,000 a month; full service from $4,000 a month

Optimist is an SEO and AEO agency for B2B SaaS and technology companies. It publishes its pricing, and every retainer is month to month. Its site cites work for HelloSign and Stampli and a testimonial from Semrush.

Strengths

  • Clear pricing and month-to-month retainers, like SeeResponse.
  • A strong AEO practice, built into how it plans content.

Limitations

  • One review on Clutch, so there’s little third-party evidence to weigh.
  • SEO and content only. Email, outbound and paid media need another partner.

3. Directive

Best for: Well-funded B2B SaaS and technology companies that want one large agency for search, paid media and revenue operations. Score: 78/100

Based inFoundedTeamClutchPricing
Irvine, CA201350 to 2494.8 from 56 reviewsNot published

Directive is a B2B marketing agency for technology, SaaS and cybersecurity brands. Its SEO service page shows a case study with Inscribe: 237% keyword growth and a 50% lift in domain authority. It also runs a generative engine optimization service.

Strengths

  • Deep B2B SaaS experience and a large team across SEO, paid media and RevOps.
  • A dedicated GEO service for AI search.

Limitations

  • No published pricing or minimum on its site or Clutch profile. Expect enterprise budgets.
  • A larger agency means you’re less likely to work with its most senior people day to day.

4. Altitude Marketing

Best for: Life sciences, manufacturing and enterprise software companies in regulated or technical markets. Score: 74/100

Based inFoundedTeamClutchPricing
Emmaus, PA200410 to 495.0 from 9 reviews$9,500 to $12,500 a month for its organic growth tier; $10,000+ minimum project

Altitude is an integrated B2B agency whose Clutch profile lists medical (45%) and manufacturing (35%) as its main industries. Its B2B SEO page includes a dedicated AEO section, and its pricing page publishes retainer tiers.

Strengths

  • Published pricing tiers, which few agencies of its size offer.
  • Two decades of B2B work, with strong industry focus.

Limitations

  • A $10,000 minimum project on Clutch.
  • Best suited to its core industries. SaaS teams may find more specialist options above.

5. Omniscient Digital

Best for: B2B software companies that want organic growth through content and SEO. Score: 73/100

Based inFoundedTeamClutchPricing
Austin, TX201910 to 494.8 from 6 reviewsFrom $10,000 a month

Omniscient is an organic growth agency for B2B software companies, covering SEO, content and GEO. Its home page carries a testimonial from Jasper’s senior director of marketing.

Strengths

  • A clear focus on B2B software and content-led pipeline.
  • Published starting price.

Limitations

  • $10,000 a month is out of reach for many mid-market teams.
  • Content and SEO only; no email or outbound.

6. Siege Media

Best for: Enterprises that want content, digital PR and AI search visibility at scale. Score: 70/100

Based inFoundedTeamClutchPricing
Austin, TX201250 to 2494.9 from 48 reviews$5,000+ minimum project; $100 to $149 an hour

Siege Media describes itself on Clutch as a full-service GEO agency for high-growth startups and enterprises. Its home page shows a Zendesk case study reporting a 356% increase in traffic value.

Strengths

  • One of the strongest review records on this list: 4.9 from 48 reviews.
  • Digital PR and affiliate partnerships alongside content, per its Clutch profile.

Limitations

  • Positions itself for high-growth startups and enterprises in general, with no B2B specialty.
  • Content-led; it doesn’t run email, outbound or CRM.

7. Victorious

Best for: Companies that want a dedicated, SEO-only team with a large budget. Score: 67/100

Based inFoundedTeamClutchPricing
San Francisco, CA201350 to 2494.8 from 119 reviews$50,000+ minimum project; $300+ an hour

Victorious is an SEO agency that combines SEO and AEO in one program. It has the most Clutch reviews on this list, and its site shows clients including Salesforce and SoFi.

Strengths

  • 119 Clutch reviews at 4.8, the largest body of evidence here.
  • SEO is 75% of its work, so the depth is there.

Limitations

  • The highest minimum on this list at $50,000.
  • Its client logos span consumer brands such as Wayfair and B2B brands such as Salesforce, so B2B isn’t the specialty.

8. Grow and Convert

Best for: SaaS companies that want bottom-of-funnel content that converts. Score: 66/100

Based inFoundedTeamClutchPricing
San Diego, CA201710 to 494.8 from 10 reviews$10,000+ minimum project

Grow and Convert is a content-focused SEO agency. Its Clutch profile says it targets high buying-intent keywords that generate leads, sales, demos or trials.

Strengths

  • A clear point of view on writing for buying intent first.
  • 4.8 on Clutch across 10 reviews.

Limitations

  • Content is the product, so ask who handles technical SEO and link building.
  • No email, outbound or CRM work.

9. Ironpaper

Best for: Enterprise B2B companies that need a new website and SEO from one team. Score: 65/100

Based inFoundedTeamClutchPricing

Ironpaper is a B2B growth agency in New York. Its site shows testimonials from Steelcase and Mobilewalla, and its Clutch profile spreads its work across web design, SEO, content, paid search and social.

Strengths

  • More than 20 years of B2B work.
  • Web design and development are its largest service lines on Clutch.

Limitations

  • High minimums and hourly rates.
  • SEO is one service of many, at 10% of its work on Clutch.

10. First Page Sage

Best for: Companies that want a steady volume of thought-leadership content. Score: 64/100

Based inFoundedTeamClutchPricing
Berkeley, CA200950 to 249No rating shown$10,000+ minimum project

First Page Sage is an SEO and content agency. Clutch lists its work as 65% SEO, 25% content and 10% conversion optimization, and its site shows client logos including Salesforce and Logitech.

Strengths

  • Founded in 2009, with SEO at 65% of its work on Clutch.
  • Publishes ranked lists and research on its blog, including a top B2B SEO agencies post that ranks for this search.

Limitations

  • No reviews on its Clutch profile to check its work against.
  • Its client logos include consumer brands such as Logitech, so B2B isn’t the specialty.

How to choose a B2B SEO agency

The right agency depends on your budget, your sales cycle and what happens after someone lands on your site. Before you sign, check these five things. Our guide to choosing an SEO agency goes deeper on each.

  1. Ask how it reports. Rankings and traffic are inputs. Ask to see a report that ties organic visits to leads and opportunities in a CRM.
  2. Check who does the work. Ask who you’ll talk to every week, and how senior they are.
  3. Look for B2B proof. A case study from an e-commerce brand tells you little about a six-month sales cycle.
  4. Ask what happens after the click. If the agency only does SEO, you’ll need someone else to nurture and follow up with the leads it brings in.
  5. Read the contract. A 12-month minimum shifts the risk onto you. Month-to-month terms keep the agency earning its fee.

What does a B2B SEO agency cost?

Published prices from the agencies on this list give a fair picture of the market in 2026:

BudgetWhat it buysExamples from this list
$2,500 to $5,000 a monthA focused program on your highest-intent pages, run by a small senior teamSeeResponse from $2,500; Optimist from $3,000
$5,000 to $10,000 a monthContent at a steady cadence, technical work and link buildingSeeResponse up to $7,500
$10,000+ a monthLarge content programs and dedicated teamsOmniscient from $10,000; Altitude $9,500 to $12,500

Minimum project sizes on Clutch run from $1,000 (SeeResponse) to $50,000 (Victorious). Price follows scope, so ask each agency how many pages, links and hours your fee covers each month.

Red flags to watch for

  • Guaranteed rankings. No one controls Google’s results, and a guarantee usually means shortcuts.
  • Traffic as the only goal. B2B keywords often have small volumes. An agency that chases big numbers will bring you readers who never buy.
  • No named clients. Anonymous case studies are hard to check.
  • Long lock-in contracts. SEO takes months to compound, but you should still be able to leave if it isn’t working.
  • Nothing on AI search. Buyers now ask ChatGPT and Perplexity for vendor lists. An agency with no plan for AI answers is behind.

Questions to ask on the first call

  1. Which B2B clients like us have you worked with, and what changed in their pipeline?
  2. Who will run our account, and how many other accounts do they manage?
  3. How will you report on leads and opportunities alongside rankings?
  4. How do you get our pages cited in AI Overviews and ChatGPT?
  5. What does our fee cover each month, and what’s the notice period?

B2B SEO agency or in-house team?

An in-house SEO lead makes sense once organic search is a major channel and you can fund a writer, a developer and link building alongside them. Before that point, an agency gives you strategy, writing, technical work and links for one monthly fee. Many B2B companies start with an agency, then hire in-house to own the strategy while the agency keeps producing.

Frequently asked questions

What is a B2B SEO agency?

A B2B SEO agency helps companies that sell to other businesses rank in search for the terms their buyers use. It differs from a general SEO agency in how it picks keywords. It targets the problems, use cases and vendor comparisons a buying committee searches for, even when search volumes are small.

How long does B2B SEO take to work?

Rankings usually move first and leads follow later, because a page has to rank before it can bring in buyers. How long that takes depends on your site’s current authority and how competitive your terms are. Ask any agency for the timeline it has seen with clients like you.

Why is SeeResponse ranked first?

We wrote this list, so we set out our scoring method and the sources for every fact. SeeResponse scores highest because it’s B2B only, publishes its pricing, works month to month and runs email, outbound and CRM alongside SEO. If you need an enterprise team of 30 people or international SEO, one of the other agencies here will suit you better.

How much should a B2B SEO agency cost?

Retainers on this list start at $2,500 a month (SeeResponse) and $3,000 a month (Optimist), and run past $10,000 a month for larger programs. Clutch minimum project sizes range from $1,000 to $50,000.
